Ballymoney ASC is a friendly family club with a strong learn to swim programme. We compete in the PTSA Provincial Towns League in Division 3 and the Aquasprints League in Division 3.
The main training nights are Monday and Tuesday 5:30, although swimmers wishing to develop their sport have the opportunity to train at other times during the week.
Ballymoney ASC focuses on giving all swimmers an opportunity to fulfill their swimming potential by giving them a solid base of knowledge and experience.
During our history we have had swimmers go on to compete internationally at Youth Olympics, held National Records, and we have had several National Champions. Many of our swimmers go into triathlon, RNLI, Pool Life Guarding, University Teams, work teams and teaching/coaching swimming.
Our wonderful team of coaches, teachers and volunteers manage to juggle their time between their busy work and life schedules to train to the highest standards (Swim Ireland Level 1 & 2 teachers and coaches, and Level 3 coaches) and maintain their licenses through annual completion of CPDs.
